Mama Bear’s offers a unique approach to Early Child hood Development. Our educational goal is to give children a loving, secure and nurturing environment to enhance their ability to develop self esteem, including opportunities for increasing competence to become life long achievers.
I allow children to function with the maximum degree of independence. Serving as a guide for each child’s individual development . Learning with a combination of both child and teacher directed activities. Fostering understanding and appreciation for each while giving them the opportunity to express themselves and value their own feelings.
The program also offers walking field trips that the children will enjoy all year around. This will give an amazing opportunity to bring the world around them alive. Through this, children will demonstrate the ability to observe, ask questions and listen.

HANDS ON LEARNING CENTERS
Mama Bear’s has seven active “Hands on Centers” that promote cognitive, social and emotional development. As well as encouraging the development of empathetic caring behavior. This will allow them to make choices while developing social skills. The centers are set up to get children excited about learning and discovering real life experiences through role playing everyday life through a child eyes. Below is a brief summary of what each center provides.
Changeable Dramatic Play Area/Kitchen Area– Offering children everyday life experiences. The children will build and design this center according to the story and theme!
Free Art/ Redesign Center- “Self Service” whirlwind of creative and cooperative activities for the children to develop social responsibility through reducing, reusing and recycling.
Quiet Area– A comfortable, attractive area used for reading stories to a group, as a place where one or more children go lie down or sit together quietly, and a place for parents to enjoy a relaxing space with their child.
Library/Writing Center– Encourages reading enjoyment and communication development through literacy with hands on learning to think like an author or illustrator.
Block Area- This area is rich in opportunities for cooperative play, building, disassembling and problem solving.
Nature Exploratory Center– Expanding the child’s imagination and exploration through observing, questioning and problem solving with science and nature discoveries as well as sorting classifying and comparing objects.
Table Tops– This area encompasses a great range of toys, puzzles, and games.
The curriculum and philosophy is designed to establish a strong link between parents and the school.
Classes/Tuition The program offers classes for children ages 3-5 yrs.
Offering a Full Day from 8:30-5:30 Monday—Friday $35.00 Choose any 1/2 Day Morning or Afternoon Preschool Class for $20.00
~ Morning Preschool 9:00 -12:00 ~ Preschool Class 2:00-5:00 ~ Lunch is from 12:00-12:30 ~$5.00 charge
